Vintage mid-century (?) classic 11”red and black painted wooden Japanese Kokeshi with concise artist / artisansigniture mark on the bottom, old and very pleasing original undisturbed (noteven washed) dry lightly usage worn and age toned painted wood surface. (Japan, 1960’s ?) 11”tall by 3 1/2” diameter at the widest point. Guaranteed old and original; this is not a fake orreproduction. Near perfectclean, crisp and appropriately lightly used estate found condition noting asingle in-the-making enamel paint blister at the rear left shoulder andappropriate lightest estate paint wear, surface soiling and appropriate veryminor usage wear and scuff marks.No cleaning or washing has been done.
