Vintage Mid Century Cera Unicorn Enchanted Forest

10 oz 5-5/8\" Tumblers CGP8 Glasses

Excellent Cera tumbler in the Enchanted Forest (CGP8) pattern. Cera Glass was founded by Anthony Velonis in the 1940s. Velonis, an important NYC graphic artist, introduced the silkscreen process to the WPA poster division in the 1930s and pioneered methods of silkscreening on glass in his Cera Glass Company where he created several influential and collectible designs in the 1950s and 1960s.

These glass are decorated with greyhounds, a unicorn and grouse in an interpretation of the Unicorn Tapestries, specifically the Unicorn in Captivity from the Hunt of the Unicorn. Each tumbler measures 5-5/8\" high, holds 10 oz. and is marked with the Cera Crown Castle Mark.

This set is in excellent \"near mint\" condition with all five glasses free of chips, cracks and fogging. There is no pattern loss and they look very clean and crisp.
