The saucer is gold plate and the inside is white enamel (could use a repaint). Gold plated mount screws to the wall. The rod connecting the lamp is inserted into the mount. Lamp hangs from mount and can be moved from side to side and pulled down or up for lighting changes. Weighted cord is weighted so that the lamp height can be adjusted.

The metal pole shows some patina and pitting. Shade shows some vintage wear.

Shade base is 7.75\" and it is 8\" tall. It comes out 10\" from the wall. I don\'t see dents in the shade and it does work.
