Beautiful Mikori Ware basket serving plate. It\'s adorned with blue, pink, yellow and rusty orange colored flowers, hand-painted blue trim and a wood handle. It is perfectly crazed all over the front and back, which on this piece adds to its vintage charm. There are not many handled serving plates out there at this time and not another one I\'ve found like this. The plate measures approximately 10-1/2\" x 9\" and stands about 7\" tall with the handle assembled. The floral design appears to be a decal. The bottom bears the Mikori Ware stamp, Hand Paint, Made In Japan.The plate and handle are in excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of wear and no chips or cracks, just crazing throughout. Please Note: The handle area where it attaches to the plate is made from bendable wire, which allows the handle to be removed easily for cleaning and space saving storage. This item will be shipped with the handle removed, so assembly of the handle will be required upon receipt.
