This is a beautiful dainty sterling silver bracelet made by the very famous Navajo artist, Nila Cook, now Nila Cook Johnson. She is well known for her excellent quality of silver work and uses only the highest grade natural stones in her work.

This is an example of hersilver work wherein she used six natural untreated fantastic round Bisbee turquoise stones in a glorious shade of blue with dark matrix. They are set in plain silver bezels and surrounded by twisted wire. There are ten rain drops in between each of the stones. The shank consists of two silver wires and two strips that form the border.

It weighs 38.3 grams and is 1/2" wide in the center, tapering down to 3/8" at the finished end terminals. It has an inside circumference, not including the gap, of 5 3/8". The slightly flexible gap adds another 1 1/8" for a total of 6 1/2". It is in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips or cracks only natural inclusions since these stones are untreated.

Since this bracelet was made before she got married,it is hallmarked "NC" on one end terminal and also stamped "sterling on the other end terminal. This is a perfect Mother's Day present for your Mother or for the lady in your life. Thank you for looking.
