Vintage Native American Zuni Turquoise INLAY Belt Buckle RANGER SET Hand tooled

TRIBE: Zuni

ARTIST/MARK: Unmarked

APPROX. SIZE: The buckle measures just shy of 2" by 1-3/4", the keepers 7/8" by 1/4" and the tip ia 1" by 1/2". The belt is 37-1/2" long not including the buckle but with the tip and 1" wide at its widest --- I am unable to weigh the ranger set without the leather but I would guess the buckle is 35 grams alone. It is a nice thick solid piece all around

CONDITION: Excellent condition with some wear to the inlay due to age but no damage or cracks that we can see. The leather appears to be much newer and we know it has been in a collection for years.

MATERIALS: Beautiful Turquoise, Jet, Spiny Oyster and Clam Shell inlay with sterling silver and hand tooled leather

Delightfulvintage Native American handmade ranger set featuring esquisite stone to stone inlay buckle, two keepers black and white striped and an inlaid tip. The inlay was expertly done and very smooth to the touch. I realize that it is difficulty to see the silver work along the edge of the inlay because it is so dark with patina, however that too is exertly stamped with a crescent design.

Even the leather is something special with this piece but if it is the wrong size for you, never fret because it is easy to change it our with something that will fit or even cut down if this one is too large. The hand tooled design on the belt however does add a magnificent western flair to the beautiful Zuni inlay that certainly looks phenomenal with jeans!!

You don't see allot of these old Zuni ranger sets especially with the green turquoise so be sure to add this one to your collection. It is a terrific addition and will last a lifetime.
