Vintage Navajo Hand Stamped Sterling Silver & Morenci Turquoise Keychain | G O For Sale
Up for sale is a collectible vintage Navajo hand stamped sterling silver and Morenci turquoise keychain.
It is believed that the best Morenci ever produced was discovered in the late 1960's to early 70's. During this time period, the mine produced a high, electric blue variety with iron pyrite inclusions that, when polished, often looks like silver. One of the first American turquoises to come on the market, though it is very difficult to obtain now because it is no longer being mined. Because of its striking color and unusual matrix combinations, high grade natural Morenci is a valuable, highly collectible keychain pendant measures 1-7/16" long and 1-1/16" wide not including the steel ring, 2-5/16" long including the ring, and weighs 10.8g. The setting measures 5/8" long and 1/4" wide.
The pendant on the keychain has been tested and examined for purity and is sterling silver. The keychain in the pictures is the one you will receive! Thanks for looking and good luck offerding!
