Vintage Navajo Hand Wrought Ingot Style Sterling Silver & Turquoise Ring For Sale
Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Ring
❀Vintage 1920's Navajo ring. It was hand wrought of silver that acid tests sterling or higher. It is bright white and soft. I would say that it is higher. Probably made of melted Mexican coins in the day.
❀It is set with a single rectangular turquoise stone. The bezel is the old style that is notched in the corners and comes up on top of the stone.
❀Turquoise is framed with braided sterling silver wire.
❀The shank is hand wrought and cold chisel split.
❀Face of the ring measures 3/4" by 12mm.
❀It weighs 6.7 grams.
❀It is not hallmarked or marked with metal purity.
❀It is a size 6.5.
❀Photographs were taken outdoors in the sun. It will be darker inside.
❀This is an early collectible Navajo piece. Possibly dead pawn.
❀What a great find!
