Up for sale is a vintage to older strand of beads. Handcrafted silver fashioned into beads, the center-seamed, ribbed or fluted variety, graduated in size from 8mm to 25mmand threaded perfectly, not too tightly, onto an underchain of silver linkage; the closure is a rigid j-hook and triangular shaped bolt end with a dollop of solder securing the fastener components in place.Thereare 63 beadsall seem more squat, as opposed to truly spherical;end to end the strand measures 23 1/2" long andweighs2.2 ounces on a digital scale prior to packing. They are made of at least coin grade silverand despite age related oxidation (near black along the chain andsome of the recessedareas of the beads) the strand as a wholeisbeautiful with condition to match, absolutely no issues.Sourced second handfroma Concord, CA, estate so I haveno specific history on these beads butwouldguesstimate them 1960 or prior. No signature or other identifying marks yetdefinitelyolder and areas right as the day is long, if you know what I mean. Please refer to images for your take on age, design and condition. ExquisiteAny interest in adding them to your wearable collection of Native American Silver?
