OLD PLAZA HOTEL SILVER COFFEE POTThis is a nice old room service coffee pot from The Plaza Hotel in New York City. Has the famous Plaza Hotel logo on the front as shown. The base is marked International Silver Co., 16 oz. and has a 72 inside a square.Nice original patina that I haven't polished although I'm sure it will clean up if the new owner prefers that look.It has some wear consistent with age as shown but still looks cool and works fine. Lid sits flat, but base wobbles a bit. Interior of pot is shiny and clean with no plate loss. Some exterior plate loss on edges and there are dings/scratches from use. Measures approx. 6.75" high to top of finial and 7" from spout to handle. Actual item you will receive is pictured. My research indicates this design was made in the Selb-Plossberg factory anddesigned byKärnerin 1923. Several color variations were made over the years and I believe this is the one made in 1955.
