It shows a portrait of an attractive young woman with short dark hair. This appears to be an unfinished artist study, as at the bottom there is in-complete paint. It is unsigned or dated, but I would date this to the early 1940s time period. It measures 16 x 20 ins. approx., and is in fair /good as is vintage condition.The board has some mild warpage/bowing to it, that can be helped by framing it.Minor surface wear/scrapes, old drip marks on back of piece.
