Up for Sale:Vintage orange Mariner Flotation Jacket by Empress Corporation, Los Angeles, CA. This is a Type III Personal Flotation Device designed to keep a conscious person in a vertical or slightly backward position in the water. \"It is approved for use on uninspected boats less than 40 ft. in length not carrying passengers for hire and all recreational boats by persons weighing more than 90 lbs.\" It is Model #3010. The date on the jacket is 2-1975.The jacket has a hood than hides/folds under the collar (see picture). The size is Small. Chest measurement is listed as 34-36\" but see measurements below.Approx. measurements:
Chest (armpit to armpit): 21-1/2\"
Length (shoulder seam to hemline): 29\". Condition: Pre-owned. Purchased at an estate sale. Appears to be in good condition. A few spots on the outside (mostly on the front right side by the pocket - see picture). The lining is mostly white but dirty around the edges, including sleeves (see pictures). There are also a few minor spots on the lining. Zipper is a little hard to get started at the bottom but works. Buttons all present.
