Up for consideration is an original vintage DR. PEPPER ELECTRIC LIGHT WALL CLOCK made by the Pam Clock Company. They were know for producing high quality electric clocks during the 1940s and continued production until the 1970s. We believe this to be from the 1960s. This particular Pam design was referred to as the “diamond’ clock and they used this style for many different advertisers. This example is a Dr. Pepper version. It consists of a metal frame with two appliance size light bulbs to light it up. The face of the clock is glass with reverse printing on the back side. This one shows a graphic of a the Dr Pepper logo along with their trademark highlight of the numbers “10”, “2” and “4”. The clock keeps accurate time and the hands and face are protected by a clear convex glass cover. The clock measures 15.50\" inches square x 4\" inches thick. It is in great condition with no cracks, dents or paint flecking. The only thing we want to point out is the reverse printing has a couple of small areas that have slightly developed a tiny bit of separation between the printing and surface. It is very faint, but you can see the areas at the “9” and “1” sections if you look carefully at the photos of the clock face. Please understand, the paint is NOT peeling and is complete with NO flecking. This is a very minor imperfection and does not take away from the look or value of the clock. Also, another interesting thing is that when the clock is plugged in, it sometimes runs backwards until we unplug it for a couple of seconds and then plug it back in. It then runs forward. This is repeated most of the time it is unplugged and then plugged back in.
