Pair ofvintage Philadelphia Manufacturing cast metal Dachshund bookends.

Dogs areleaning against a stack of books and chewing on the covers of the top books.

Well-crafted pair in brass or bronze finish.
Each measures 4 5/8\" tall X 4 1/2\" wide X 2 3/4\" inches deep and weighs nearly 2.5 pounds.
The bottoms are covered inred felt and have the original label.
Excellent vintage condition.Some brassing is apparent consistent with the age of these bookends. There is a chip on the back of one of the bookends. See photo 8.Thank you for looking.
