Lovely pair of hard to find Child Welfare earthenware figures from Aluminia. Each figure holds a basket of fruit and could be used as candle holders or bud vases. Lovely bright well painted colors on this highly collectible faience couple. I believe the boy was produced in 1944 and his pretty companion in 1943. Please see my other current sales for more fine Scandinavian art pottery as I am always happy to combine wins to save on postage costs.

SIZE: boy measures 6” (15cm) tall approx.

CONDITION: Excellent! Some clean crazing on close inspection. No issues.

MARKS: both figures marked appropriately, Boy impressed 2328 and girl 2284 ? SEE PHOTOS
