Vintage Paul H. Young Fly Fishing Rod #1949 “parabolic 17” 8 ½ Ft. 5.35 Oz For Sale

Own a piece of American fly fishing history, up for sale is a vintage original Paul H. Young fly fishing rod, 14 vintage Paul H. Young fly fishing hooks, 3 vintage Hardy Brothers fly fishing reels, 3 Pflueger pre- 1900 brass fishing reels, and a Turner Brothers Delight bamboo rod case all enclosed in a wall mounted display case with plexiglass cover (4ft 8in x 1ft 10in x 4 ½). The pole is a #1949 “Parabolic 17” 8 ½ ft. 5.35 oz. with wet and dry tips (5/64 and 7/64). Varnished, medium-flamed cane, antique gold/tan wraps that are tight, snake guides are perfect, black Super-Z ferrules, aluminum screw lock with Paul H. Young co. marked cap, Wells grip with a tapered cork into shaft with cork reel seat. The pole is in like new condition and is all original with Paul H. Young’s hand writing and was made for Dr. David C. Groff who was a fishing buddy of Paul H. Young. 14 different vintage handmade Paul H. Young fly fishing hooks. 1 Vintage Hardy Brothers L.T.D. “The Perfect Fly Reel” size 2 7/8 with brass foot and silver nickel agate, made in Alnwick England Pat No. 24245 & 9261 duplicated mark ll, 1 Vintage Hardy Brothers L.T.D. “The Uniqua Fly Reel” size 3 3/8 with brass foot made in Alnwick England Pat. No. 145904 & 369867, and 1 Vintage Hardy Brothers “The St. George Reel” size 3 3/8 with alloy foot and silver nickel agate made in Alnwick England Pat. No. 272409. 1 pre-1900 all Brass Pflueger Sal-Trout fly fishing reel size 3 5/8 with Bull Dog trade mark made in U.S.A. 1 pre-1900 all Brass Pflueger Progress Skeleton size 2 ½ fly fishing reel with Bull Dog trade mark made in U.S.A. 1 pre-1900 Brass and Nickel Pflueger Progress Skeleton size 2 ½ fly fishing reel with Bull Dog trade mark made in U.S.A. 1 Turner Brothers Delight bamboo rod case Pat.
