Vintage Peanuts tin metal tea set Peppermint Patty 1960s tray gang cups Pigpen:

This set originally had two plates with Peanuts characters but only one is left - with Peppermint Patty picture. The tray shows the gang - Charlie Brown, Schroeder, Pigpen, Lucy, Snoopy, Frieda (with blonde curls - not red hair), Sally, Linus, etc. Charles Schulz cartoon Peanuts characters and we think this child\'s tea set was made by Chein? The tray measures about 7 1/2 inches by about 5 1/2 inches. The round plate measures about 4 1/8 inches in diameter. There are two blue outside and white inside tea cups and two yellow saucers. The paint on all the pieces is in very good condition. A dark dot inside one cup and these have been used - some small dents on the plate but no paint is chipped off, etc.This set was found in the cellar of some family members in Connecticut last year when they moved. It was given to their daughter in the 1960s and also played tea party with the grandchildren. Nice pieces to complete a collection or to use for tea parties.
