Vintage Perkins marine lantern. Normal wear and tear for age with chips, scratches, dents, corrosion, dirt, etc - see pics. Really attractive piece. This is a shell and does not have the kerosene lantern that originally was made for it but it is ready for your own electric lamp. With the nice rustic grays of this piece, at home in modern furnishings as well as antique. I prefer these lamps in this state rather than polishing or painting as is done by some. Markings:
Marked Perkins Marine Lamp and the clear glass Freznel lens is marked Perko Mould No 36Size: Stands about 20\" tall without including handle.Note: opening in bottom is good size to allow different types of lighting options. I have 60 watt bulb in now in small lamp with cord switch but selling without so you can add your own options. If you want the electric lamp I have in now, sight unseen, let me know and I will add $10 to your order and include.
