This is a FABULOUS Victorian baroque style antique frame. It is made of wood with added details in gesso, all which has been painted white in a shabby chic fashion. There are black and gold undertones under the white. The outside dimensions are about 23\" x 27\", the opening on the front is about 15.5\" x 19.5\". The sides are 3 1/2\" wide and it projects about 1\" from back to front. From the back it would hold a picture that is 16\" x 20\". The condition is very good with authentic hairlines showing through. There are a few minor areas of gesso loss (see pics). There are also a couple of tacks or nails poking through the back that should be covered to protect one\'s wall. What a stunning effect this stylish frame would have in any wedding, shabby chic, rustique, cottage or vintage decor!!!!
