I am selling a collection of early 20th century postcards. Some are used with postage. Others are unused. Please see the pictures for details. There is some edge wear, staining, and discoloration. I tried to flip the cards in order so that you could see which ones have been used and which have not. I will gladly combine shipping on multiple purchases.
Payment for your item is expected within 2 days of the sale ending. As per , the only form of payment that I accept is PayPal, unless an item is being picked up. I will gladly hold a purchase if you need me to, but you have to let me know. After 4 days without communication or payment, I will begin the no payment received process so I can get my clients items sold.
Because I sell on consignment, I cannot offer free shipping. All shipping is based on the actual weight and size of the item when packaged and is calculated by the sources available through . I do add $3 ($5 International) to cover s 9% fee on shipping charges, insurance, tracking, and packing materials because they are not included in the calculators. All items are shipped insured to protect my clients, you the buyers, and myself. The insurance covers both shipping cost and item cost. In the event of a claim, I also refund the insurance cost, since I made you pay for it. What this simply means is that if you receive a damaged item, you receive 100% of your purchase once the claim is approved. I ship via UPS, FedEx, and the USPS only, and purchases are usually shipped the same day that they are paid for and no later than next business day unless you are informed of a delay. Tracking numbers are automatically sent to you once the shipping label is printed.If you have any questions, or if you would like to specify any special shipping requirements before an item is shipped, please let me know before payment is made.
I will gladly combine the shipment of items purchased ending within three days of each other. If you win an sale, and are offerding on more items, please let me know to wait on payment and shipment until the end of the other sale(s). I will send you a combined shipping invoice or a credit for the discount if you pay before I have time to get to it.
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return it for a full refund of the purchase price (less shipping) within 30 days. You must notify me that you are returning an item. (No communication through = no credit) Items will be processed immediately upon receipt and inspection of arrival in good condition. If you receive and item that is damaged, please do not return it. The insurance process usually does not require return, and in most cases provides faster credit. Items returned that are damaged will not receive credit unless you have them covered by insurance.
A little about me.
I am a professional organizer that helps my clients get back some of the money that they have tied up in stuff through consignment selling. I take a small percentage of the sale sale price to cover my costs, but pass the rest back on to my clients to help cover the cost of services as well as get money back for their stuff. Generally, I write checks to my clients, and never receive a payment. I try to only sell items that I predict will sell for more than $25 or are collections for easy listing. Because I am not a collector of the items that I sell, my descriptions are based on what my clients can tell me of the item or what I find through online research. If you know interesting facts about an item I am listing, please let me know and I will update the listing, as well as inform my client.
Because I am selling items from my clients who have hired me as a professional organizer, I am always finding unique items to sell. Whether it is the collections of antiques passed on from a relative, the equipment from a business closed more than 50 years ago, or the forgotten items bought as gifts and hidden away in a closet for years, I am always amazed at what my clients have for me to sell. Unless my client asks to have the item started higher, I start my sales at $9.99 and let the market determine the value. I feel that by starting at a low price, I will attract more watchers to an item, and that you as a buyer have the opportunity to purchase a valuable item at a discount. Very seldom does an item ever have a reserve on it and if it does, the reserve price is listed in the details of the item, and the reason for it.
Like I say, I do my best to describe items I am selling. I take pictures from all angles to give you the best look at an item and I take detailed pictures of items with damage/wear/age so that you are aware prior to purchase. All measurements are approximate only, using a tape measure, to give you an idea of size. If you require any more information on an item, please feel free to ask and I will get back to you. Positive response is very important to me. If for any reason you cannot give me a 5 star rating and positive response, please let me know the reason before leaving response so I can remedy the situation. I leave only positive response, once response is left for me.
When you receive your item, you will realize that I believe in recycling. My boxes are from fellow small business owners that save them for me to reuse in my business and are only used if they are undamaged. The packing material is also previously used from a local body shop. All material is clean or it is not used. The bubble wrap that is used to protect sheet metal auto parts is much stronger than the standard stuff from shipping suppliers, and thus will protect your item better.
