This BEAUTIFUL vintage Pyrex oblong casserole dish is in light turquoise with gold design. It is in EXCELLENT condition with NO chips or cracks. Color is bright and looks wonderful for it's age. It has an 8 point star starburst design on each of the two longer sides. Bottom is marked 575- B 2 QT. Pyrex Made in U.S.A. 1. The lid is clear glass marked Pyrex 550C 29. See photo's for detail.The casserole dish measures 11.25 (including handles) x 6.75 x 2.5 inches. The lid is slightly longer--11.50 inches--the lid adds additional 1.5 inches in height. I believe this was made in 1960 and was a promotional piece. VERY hard to find!!!! - especially in this quality condition.
