THIS BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE NOVELTY POWDER COMPACT DATES FROM THE 1950's PERIOD.

It is made by "PYGMALION" and is called "SONATA", shaped like a grand piano - the details are lovely.

The outside is made of goldtone metal, which has engine tirned and chased details to all sides. The lid has a blank cartouche, which would have been for personal engraving. The top lifts up tp reveal a bevelled shaped mirror. The hinged powder lid is signed, it includes the original signed powder puff and gauze.

The detailed Sheraton legs and pedal rest all fold up for ease of transport.

The overall condition is excellent, the metal is shiny and bright. The mirror is intact. Powder puff and gauze unused. All hinges and catches are in perfect working order.

It measures 6.9cm x 6.0cm and is 3.4cm high.
