You are looking at an absolutely gorgeous and rare G210-5 model bullet microphone manufactured by the Ronette-Holland company during the 1950\'s with riveted label. Included is the Sonotone period stand. The craftsmanship on this mic is far superior to any American mic I have seen. Even the chrome plating is top notch.
As you can see in the pictures provided this G210-5 is in original condition and has almost no wear. The chrome finish glows like few I have ever seen and even the mesh screen is very nice with zero signs of tarnish. The Ronette label looks brand new and the mics joint mechanism has tension to keep the mic\'s head at angle desired.
The original dynamic element is still present inside the housing but no longer works. For resale value I have left the mic alone but a stronger dynamic element could easily be installed but it will need a new transformer as the original is quite weak. This would make a great harp mic for sure and a real nice general purpose mic once fixed. The threads for the stand are in perfect condition for both the stand and cable.
You\'ll notice thereis a period Sonotone stand that\'s included and it looks very sharp with the Ronette mic. The stand is in excellent condition and is a total of 8 inches high with the mic attached X 3 inches wide. The Sonotone is all metal with a satin chrome finish and has some good weight to it despite it\'s smaller size. The original felt pad is still on the bottom too. This mic takes a standard 5/8 X 27 Amphenol mic cable which is not included but very easy to buy on . I have quite a few available for sale in my store.
A beautiful display piece to show off anywhere in the home, office or studio. Again, rare and absolutely gorgeous.
I would rate the true cosmetic condition of the mic a true 9 on a scale of 1- 10.
