A great and virtually impossible to find VINTAGE Winston Cigarettes Aladdin Thermos Jug with Original Instruction sheet from the early 1960s. 1 pint size. Complete with cup/lid and stopper. Made by Aladdin in NASHVILLE TENNESSEE USA. Might be one of a kind at this point - have not been able to find any others.
The instructions tout this as \"The Rustless One\" - a breakthrough from the older steel thermos jugs that were of durable but rust-prone painted steel. (Remember those plaid Aladdins?) Aladdin had tried aluminum (prone to corrosion) and had just developed a plastic shell it felt was rugged enough to market for adult use.
\"... a glass vacuum-insulated bottle such as the one you have just purchased provides the best method of insulation known to man.\" Pretty unequivocal.In good condition - some light wear to the outside along with promotional sticker residue on cup. Inside is the original instruction sheet and NO signs of any actual use.
Great as a gift for the collector, man cave, or baby-boom refugee.
