Vintage Rare J. C. Conroy & Co. German Silver Reel W/s Handle, 2:1 Multiplier:
$374

Up for offer is oneVintage German Silver Multiplier Casting Reel with S Handle, Pivoting Oiler Bearing Caps, and 2:1 geared multiplier. I'm not sure how to classify this reel, based on the size of the foot I would guess it would have been used for salt water fishing or perhaps large fresh water species. There is no Clicker or Drag. The front cover is marked "J. C. CONROY & Co., N.Y.". This reel is constructed of German Silver. It is in good working condition. The S handle has a wood knob. The foot appears to be machined from one piece of metal. It appears free of scratches, has a few small spots of surface corrosion/roughness on the rear plate. The bearing caps have pivoting covers to allow for oiling in good condition.
It measures 3-5/16" diameter, 5-1/8" deep including the handle, pillars are about 2-1/8" long, and has a foot measuring 3-3/8" long by 3/4" wide. It weighs 1 pound 6.9 ounces, with packaging it will ship below 2 pounds. I combine shipping and pass the savings on, so please view my other items. Thank you for looking.
