Vintage Rare Royal Copenhagen Figure-young Girl From Bornholm #1323 From 1911 For Sale
Here is aVintage Rare Royal Copenhagen Figure-Young Girl from Bornholm #1323 from 1911. This figure is 8 1/4" tall by 4" wide at it's widest area which is the base by 3 1/2" deep. Thisrare Copenhagen young girl figurine was modeled by Lotte Benter, model #1323 design between 1911 and 1914 submitted 14 figures of girls in peasant costumes or national dress and only 9 came into production. The marking on the base are as follows: Lotte Bender II who is the artist embossed as seen in photo, N B which looks like it is backwards orthe number 8, Royal Copenhagen around a Crown and the letter E is underlined which tells me this figure was retired in 1956, The painters initials which are UT, #1323. Thisfigure has NO Chips, Cracks or Flea Bites it is in Mint Condition.This figure is a young girl playing with her braids with her thumb in her mouth. She is wearing a Blue colored dress light gold designs around the lower part of the dress and a blue green shall with a blue green and white bonnet with gold flowers as seen in photo.
