We have for sale a 1930\'s Red Wing Saffron Ware Cookie Jar or Canister. This jar is a wonderful buttery yellow color which originally had a floral paint design on the exterior which is completely removed. If viewed closely, remnants are visible, but these do not take away from the look of the jar. The glaze on the jar is in beautiful condition. There are some manufacturing flaws and a couple chips on the interior which can be seen if the lid is off. Also some chips on the reverse side of the lid. There are no cracks and any crazing is small and not visible unless looking very closely. The marking is clearly visible on the bottom. The jar stands 8 3/4\" tall and has a diameter of 8\". Please view photos carefully for condition detail.
