Tarnished, silver-tone (brass?) case with filigree border, glass dome, red velvet lining inside with gold trim. Small white paper 'flower' with relic, Paper Name holder.

Case is in very nice condition - with normal tarnish and wear

Not marked for metal content or origin

.there is an intact string wax seal secure and complete....it says something like St Gill Postul ??? (not sure of the wording ....but the impression is good....just does not make any sense to me). It also has a cross in the center that is also part of that wax impression. I do not remember the source have had it for decades....but this county I live in (stearns) is also home to St. Johns and St. Benedicts colleges and monasteries and also another county close by is home for the Franciscin sisters.....normally these types of relics would only be with the wealthy or nuns/priests/monks/bishops.....I might have come from an sale with a family connected that way.
