Vintage Reuge 6/41 six song music box. The ornate tag on the inside of the lid has REUGE SAINTE - CROIX MUSIC SWITZERLAND and the following song list

The wood box is in great shape except for where a small metal plaque was affixed to the front. There is a dark rectangle there now (see pic 6) (The last picture shows the plaque and according to it this box was acquired in 1968) Other than that I could only find some very light scuffing to the top. You have to hold it at an agle for the light to catch it so you can see it. The sound is loud and very clear. Everything appears to work as designed. It was found at an estate sale so I don't know its maintance history but well worth the investment of a professional cleaning to ensure many more years of enjoyment. The brass cylinder does has a discoloration, very small, on the end farthest from the mechanical workings. I have tried to list all the good with the bad. I want an informed buyer.
