Vintage Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted Plain Demitasse Flat Cup And Saucer 3 Of 6:
I recently acquired a collection of Royal Copenhagen Blue Fluted Plain flat cups and saucers, and I'll be listing most of them this afternoon. All are marked with RC's blue wavy lines, green Royal Copenhagen green inkstamp and the painter's initials. I've numbered them to keep them in pairs, so you may see the numbers in my photos. Because they're all identical in size and shape, I'll only be changing the listings to reflect productions dates on each piece....otherwise, most of my description will be the same.3 of 6This sale is for one demitasse flat cup and saucer. The flat bottomed cup is 2 3/8" tall, and the saucer measures 5" across. Both pieces are marked with the item number 1/80, and this particular saucer pre-dates 1923, as there's no DENMARK below the word COPENHAGEN. It also has an very tiny flat flake, right in the center, that's not noticeable until youtilt it just right. The cup dates to 1950. Other than the flake mentionedabove, condition on both is excellent---no chips, cracks or other apologies. Please check my other sales for five more RC demitasse cups and saucers, all in the same great condition. Shipping can be combined for multiple wins, but please wait for your combined invoice before paying. I describe things to the best of my ability, but it's still a good idea to check the listing and photos carefully before offerding. Good luck and thanks for looking!
