Bearing the Royal Doulton hallmark, this is a Toby character \"Touchstone\" pitcher, designed by Charles Noke. The Touchstone character is from Shakespeare\'s comedy--\"As You Like It.\" Touchstone is a jester to the court of the exiled Duke Of Frederick. Made of fine English bone china, this hand-painted pitcher is truly a piece of art. It measures 7\" High, 7 3/8\" Wide, and 5 1/2\" Deep. The handle features another smaller image of the jester. A great find for a Royal Doulton collector, or anyone who appreciates this kind of detailed artistry.
