Vintage Royal Haeger figural vase or planter. Fellow with a mustachewearing abowtie andholding a flower; his shoes protrude at the bottom of the vase/planter. Brown textured exterior finish with shiny brownglazed accents, glazed interior and glazed bottom. Marked Royal Haeger U.S.A. under the glaze. He is approximately 5 inches tall, 3 5/8 inches in diameter at the top and 4 1/8 inches across from the tips of his toes to the back of the vase. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines; a couple of tiny spots of mineral deposit inside the top rim. Haeger Potteries was located in Dundee, Illinois and ceased operation in 1916 after 145 yearsin business.
