Arare Russ Berrie & Wallace Berrie Companies vintage 1970 Black is Beautiful \"unbreakable\" resin figural statue of a young African American boy and his pup, both with big black eyes!
The little boy is holding his dog and the slogan is written on the base. There is a gold tag on the bottom Russ Berrie & Co with the dates 1968, 1969 and 1970; made in the USA. It it also stamped on the back side of the base W & R Berries Co\'s 1970. The figurine stands approximately 5 1/2 x 3 1/4 inches tall. The Black Americana figurine is in very good condition.
