* Repousse Pattern, besides the Rose Pattern, their most popular design and still highly desirable today,

this stunning pattern was 1st introduced in 1828 in their hollow ware line.

\"S.Kirk & Son Sterling\" #8 Repousse Pattern Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet, Signed & Stamped, which dates this piece to a rather wide window of time; 1932 to 1979 as per this particular hallmarking by the Kirk Stieff Silver Company, the singular \"son\" & stamp of \"sterling\" brings this piece into the 20th century. The company was established in Baltimore by Samuel Kirk in the year 1817 [or 1815 depending where you read their history] & is often dubbed, \"The Oldest Silversmith in America\" as known then as \"The House of Kirk\" and a book was published about this grand establishment in the year 1917 of that very name.
