The figural accent lamps are highly desired and continue to increase in value with collectors. Originally used for atmosphere lighting during radio listening (sometimes called radio lamps). This lamp was made by the "Scene In Motion Corp." (stamped on back) from Chicago. It is copyrighted 1931. Originally came with a picturesque glass in front. It has been replaced with a blue and green stained glass. Still has original sillohuette glass (see photo #6). It is missing the spinning cylinder that creates the motion effect. The modified version is quite impressive when both glass panels are lit (photo #1) and it is also lovely with just the stained glass lit (photo #9). Lamps like this one, Art Deco figures in reclined or dancing poses, remain the most popular and desired. Overall, excellent condition and perfect working order, requires one standard size light bulb. On/off switch on back of lamp. Together, the lamp and glass make a perfect marriage. Simply, a most impressive and stunning lamp for the collector of superb condition Art Deco pieces.
