Offered from a lifetime collection is a Shelley fine English Bone China cup and saucer in their charming \"Dainty Blue\" patternwhich is a fluted and scalloped shape with delicate blue outline flowers and ivy-like leaves on all edges, even inside the delicate cupThe trim is blue and saucer is embossed with the same shape as the cupand all in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or stains
There is a bit of rubbing wear on one of the lobes near the rim, where a thumb may have rested for many years
Otherwise this vintage set is excellent!
Saucer is 5 3/4\" acrossCup is 3 1/2\" across and 2 1/2\" high
It is pattern 051/28 and the backstamps are green with \"Dainty Blue\" on both in pink
A shadow appears on the bottom of the cup in the photo, that is a photography glitch, not a mark on the cup
