This vintage large Majolica plate was hand crafted in Germany . Marked SMF Schramberg Kundyemalt 59 with an incised 4546.
Large - Measuring just over 14\" in diameter.
Depicts an Alpine Chalet in the Spring - Beautiful bucolic setting.
Nice condition. Some marks from hardware on the base and edge. Hairline superficial crack in glaze by clouds. Casting indentation. Otherwise, fine. Colors vibrant and paint and glaze in tact.
Vestige of the original label (from dealer) remains (which you will probably want to wash off).
