This is the Stanwell 1984 Pipe Of The Year, and what a pipe she is. Starting with the absolutely brilliant ring grain blast and covered with a rich dark finish. The acrylic stem tapers into a fishtail mouthpiece. Of course the plaque on the side of the shank proclaims that this is the pipe of the year while the crowned S makes the stem look so regal. This is not just another pretty pipe, however. This is a Stanwell, so get ready for some good times. Being a Stanwell fan myself, I happen to think this pipe will give Sasieni, Dunhill or anything else a run for their money, and at a fraction of the cost. This beautiful pipe has earned its title, and it will be in your rotation after one smoke.
