The plastic bubble is clear.My parents purchased this Star Wars figure, new in 1982, at a Consumer Electronics/ Toy Store "membership club," located in downtown Santa Rosa, California (same block as McDonalds). It was for my brother, who was eight at the time. THE BAD NEWS (DEFECTS):The "proofs of purchase" offer got the best of my brother, as he had my mom cut out the proof of purchase seal from the lower middle area of the card (see photos).
