Vintage Scottie Scotty Dog Tea Towels Embroidery Pattern
This is a PHOTOCOPY of a Vintage 1930s Embroidery pattern to make anthropomorphic Scottie or Scotty Dog tea towels. Miss Scottie is wearing an apron in all of the designs, which include her dusting, washing clothes, sweeping, doing dishes, and putting dishes into the cupboard. I include a COLOR printout copy of the front cover and black and white copies of the complete pattern with an ENLARGED copy of the back cover/instructions. It is just one more way that I am always thinking of the customer first her at MJs Vintage Patterns!
Please note that this pattern is a PHOTOCOPY. In order to use it as an iron on, you need to trace the design with a transfer pen. Transfer pens are widely available at fabric and craft stores. Just trace the design and then iron it onto your fabric. It should be good for multiple stampings just like a regular iron on transfer. Be sure to followthe manufacturers instructions and test it on scrap fabric before starting on your good material. You can also transfer the design to fabric by holding it upto a light source (like alight box or a window)and tracing the design onto your material. Please email me with any questions that you have.
I have hundreds more embroidery designs available. Click here to see all my Embroidery PatternsThis pattern was originally created September 24, 1939. The copyright for this pattern has expired and it entered the public domain Jan 1, 1968.
