Vintage Sears Converse The Winner Hi Sneakers, Red With Black Rubber, Usa, 8 For Sale
Time for a little Spring house
cleaning! I'm selling a few select pairs from my collection of
vintage and worn sneakers. Many of these styles were discontinued
years ago. Most were purchased on over the past 14 years or so,
but some I bought in other places.
I've done my best to provide accurate
descriptions. Please study the photographs carefully and let me know
if you have any questions. As collectors know, it's impossible to
predict the long-term wearability of a vintage pair of sneakers. Some
will hold up fine to regular wear, while others are more fragile. You
should not, of course, expect the same level of wearability as you
would get from a brand new pair of sneakers. I'm sorry, but returns
will not be accepted. If you have questions, ask!
All items are -- or will be -- cleaned
as per standards. Ours is a non-smoking house, but I can't vouch
for the original owner (unless it was me).
Here is a great vintage pair of Sears
The Winner high-top sneakers. These were made by Converse for Sears.
Made in the USA! This style dates from the 1970's. The black rubber
is a rare variation not often seen. The size is not marked, but in
comparison to other similar pairs I believe them to be size 8.
Measured on the bottom of the sole, the length is 28.6 cm (11.3
inches), and the width at the ball of the foot is 9.4 cm (3.7
As you can see from the photographs,
they have a moderate amount of wear but are in generally good
condition. The rubber is still fairly soft and flexible. This is a
very rare and unusual pair of vintage sneakers -- you will not find
another like it on .
