VINTAGE SET OF 8 MATCHING 8-1/4\" LONG TABLE / PLACE SETTING / SERVING SPOONS
FROM THE 1918 ISSUED \"LOUVAIN\" PATTERN OF SILVERPLATE FLATWARE BY
1847 ROGERS BROS. / WM. ROGERS MFG. CO.
NO MONOGRAMSVery nice, once used, since stored, and as found condition. Each do show typical surface wear from being used and stored, such as light surface scratches and each retain a deep level of patina as these are true vintage pieces and have not been cleaned or polished. We do not clean items like these as we leave that up to the buyer just in case you need to match a similar patina set as well as to avoid damage from cleaning.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE: This unique set has been stamped on the backside TWICE. Originally these were stamped 1847 ROGERS BROS., and then were overstamped WM ROGERS MFG CO XII. I am unsure of why that was done by the manufacturer, otherwise, these are most certainly from the Rogers \"Louvain\" pattern name. Please refer to the very last photo.
This is a really nice, set of accessory spoons, whether you have an existing heirloom set from this pattern and are looking to expand or complete your set, or these would be great for the jewelry maker and those into arts and crafts!
