The largest one measures 7\" tall & 7 \" wide and the other three all nest inside each other, inside of that biggest one. They fit inside the bread box.
This is a set of Bread Box and Four Vintage metal nesting kitchen canisters acquired from an estate sale. They have a yellow and red flower pattern. The large one measures 7\" tall by 7\" across. The next is 6.75\" tall by 6.5\" across. The next is 6.25\" tall x 5\" across. The smallest is 5.5\" tall by 4.25\" across.
This is a really great set of very old metal kitchen canisters. These were very popular in the1940\'sand1950\'s. A wonderful addition to that country farm shabby kitchen. The main background color is a soft creamy white. Lovely design of red and yellow and blue flowers. Would make a great display item for your kitchen, or can be touched up a bit with metal cleaner. Overall, they make a great presentation.
These canisters are in very good condition for their age- no major dents or scratches but have some metal oxidation and some rusting, especially inside the medium small canister- perhaps it held salt. There are some small spots of rust and several paint chips on the outside but overall they are in great shape for their age. Useziplockbags inside the canisters to store food stuffs.
