Vintage Seth Thomas Westminster Chime Mantel Clock W/ Key For Sale
Up for your consideration is a vintage Seth thomas Westminster Chime Mantle Clock. This is an eight day 1/4 hour Westminster Chime. It is a division of General Time, Thomaston, Conn. USA. The lovely clock has a beautiful chery finish. It measures 9" high and 20" long at the base, and 4" deep. The face is metal and shows slight wear, not really noticeable. The bazel is brass and the glass is in good condition, no cracks. It comes with the original key and there is an adjustment up by the 12 too slow it down or speed it up. On the inside of the back door are directions for setting it up. It says either Wedbury or Medbury (letter is speared) 5W-5206. Written on the movement is 124. It also has a lever to make it silent. It works well and keeps good time. The clock chimes the Westminster chime every 15 minuts and completely on the hour as well as chiming the hour. This is a beautiful, great running clock and comes from a smoke free home, ready for you mantle.
