This vintage potterycookie jar is by Shawnee. This ever lovable and popular dog is named Muggsy (a.k.a. The Tooth Ache Dog). Muggsy is white with big blue eyes. His mouth is open showing his little pink tongue. Quite an adorable face! He is wearing a brown collar and his head and left cheekis wrapped in ablue bandage which ties into a big bow on the top of his head. There is a tiny piece of \"extra\" glaze on the left side of the bandage and two areas of discolouration (or paint under the glaze) on the left, underside of the lid which cannot be seen when lidded on display. This vintage pottery cookie jar is practically perfect inside and out!!! Muggsy sits approximately 11 inches high and weighs 1.7kgs unpackaged.
