A Moghul glass,enamel, gold-plated Maltese Cross Brooch Pin and Pendant.

Thisbrooch has stunning, elongated lines with a central oval blue-green translucentMoghul glass cabochon surrounded by gold-plated rope and smaller round, glasscoral colored beads. The cross is set in a gold-plated housing and has elegantlyflared cross members in striped black enamel set off at each end with three morecoral colored beads.

Thereis a large bail on the back of the brooch so that it can be worn as a pendanton a necklace.

Itis signed “Ciner” on the back and is part of the Jewels of India line.

Thisis a large brooch measuring 2 3/4” wide by 2 7/8” tall.

Itis very good condition with some tiny losses to the gold plating in a few placesthat I couldn’t see until I looked at it under a magnifying glass. I tookseveral photos of the piece, but the losses don’t really show up in any ofthem.

Youwill not find a more elegant, classy and versatile brooch by this designer. Itis both dramatic and understated at the same time.
