This beautiful stunning and rare signed Hattie Carnegie Limoges portrait cameo brooch pin was found at an estate sale. I have not seen another one like it. The frame around the cameo is oval in brushed yellow gold plated metal with a rope detail around the cameo and one pearl. Please note that three of the pearls are missing but this brooch is still an excellent piece. This piece has not been cleaned and is in its original vintage condition. The portrait is of a beautiful woman that looks a lot like Scarlett O\'hara from \"Gone With The Wind\". The detail, color and perfection of the tiny painting is amazing. The little painting has been highlighted with tiny strokes and dots of raised white enamel to visually suggest a real pearl necklace, depth across breast and ornamentation in her hair. The brooch has a Victorian air and is exceptionally well made. The brooch closes with a rollover safety catch pin that is in perfect working order. This brooch is signed on the back \"Hattie Carnegie\" and \"Made in Limoges France\". Please note that most of my jewelry comes from estate sales and could need cleaning and since it is vintage some wear is normal. The condition of the item is my personal opinion and I try to give as accurate information as I can about the item to the best of my knowledge. Remember these are vintage items, that means someone at one point owned it and loved it...so when you get it please remember it is not new, it will have wear!
