This is a vintage Catholic religious relic medal made in Italy. The front has a lovely image of Sister Elisabeth Bergeron, a Canadian nun who founded the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Sainte Hyacinth in the 1870\'s.The back of the medal has a tiny piece of cloth behind glass and reads Ex Indumentis around the edge, making this a 2nd or 3rd class relic. It\'s in good condition without any damage to the medal, the tiny glass cover has an internal chip? that must have occurred when it was made.
