And The Hat is The Top Of The Jar And Lifts Off. The Cookie Jar Is Made Of Porcelain. This Cookie Jar Has A Sticker On The Bottom Norcrest. Regus. Pat. Off. Japan. This Cookie Jar Is About 8 1/2 Inches Tall From Bottom Of Head To Top Of Hat And Is About 18 1/2 Inches Around. This Cookie Jar Is In Good Condition And Has Never Been Used. However There Is A Small Flea Bite Size Chip On The Inside Rim Of The Top And There Is A Small Green Paint Spot On The The Top Of The Hat And A Manufacturer\'s Defect On The Brim Of The Hat Which Looks Like A Small Indentation. Other Than That This Cookie Jar Is In Good Shape. Even With The Defects This Cookie Jar Still Holds A High Value In Price And Collectible Factor.
