You are offerding on an antique SELTZER BOTTLE sold by the Sparklets Corporation and made in CZECHOSLOVAKIA!! Surrounded by wire mesh as a safety design feature, this bottle is for making carbonated water or seltzer water. It uses a carbon dioxide (CO2) cartridge in this process, and a cartridge is shown in the photos.

Bottle features a red line, used as a guide in filling. Lettering stamped on the bottom says \"MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA\", and there is a number embossed on the bottom inside a rectangle. This number appears to be a 300.

Believed to date back to the 1930s!! Still in GORGEOUS condition!! No chips or other flaws in the glass, and no apparent flaws in the mesh. Will make a great addition to a collection of soda fountain items or a man cave!

Stands approximately 13 1/2 inches tall to the top of the cap and 14 inches to the top ofthe CO2 cartridge holder. Diameter at the base is approximately 4 inches. It is very heavy!

I have not tried it to verify that it works, as I intended it for display only. I bought itfor a soda fountain area of my \"man cave\", butwe moved to a different house and I am selling all of the soda fountain items. (You can purchase replacementCO2 cartridges if you actually intend to use this.)

This item has been stored in my smoke-free, pet-free, climate-controlled, all-adult-collector homefor many years.
